Gorgeous Silver and White Cut Velvet Evening Gown & White Fox-Trimmed Ensemble
All creations were originally created for the owner by Margi Kent, c. ~2000, in Los Angeles.
A breathtaking silver and white cut velvet evening gown featuring intricate silver thread and patterning, accented by luxurious white stand-up fox fur trim along the collar and hood. The hood lifts into a dramatic full cascade framing the wearer’s face, creating an exceptionally elegant and distinctive effect. The back of the gown gathers into a graceful mini-train, allowing the fabric to flow beautifully behind. The ensemble includes a heavy matching brocade stole, finished with exquisite white fox fur trim to complement the gown. Of special significance, the owner wore this beautiful evening gown and matching stole to the prestigious “Black and White Ball” in San Francisco, where the ensemble made quite a statement. This wonderful provenance adds another layer of glamour and distinction to an already exceptional evening ensemble. A truly glamorous and distinctive evening ensemble, combining sumptuous velvet, intricate silver detailing, luxurious fox fur, and a dramatic silhouette for an unforgettable statement. All elements of this outfit were designed and crafted by famous fashion and costume designer Margi Kent.
