Exquisite Gold Silk Satin Evening Gown, with French Lace, Embellished with Beads and Sequins, & Ensemble
Originally created for the owner by Margi Kent in Los Angeles; c. 1993.
A stunning gold silk satin evening gown featuring exquisite French lace, hand-sewn gold beads in fleur-de-lis designs, and shimmering sequin and beaded embellishments on the bodice. When buttoned, the back creates an elegant bustle-back appearance; when unbuttoned, it reveals a dramatic, full-length French lace train, giving the gown an almost regal, royal impression. The gown features a long silk satin skirt and versatile cap sleeves that can be worn at mid-elbow length. This exceptional ensemble includes several luxurious coordinating wraps: a sheer gold chiffon scarf, a silk chiffon gold cape, and a heavier gold satin cape with a stand-up collar, beautifully embellished with intricate designs. The matching satin cape also includes a coordinating handbag crafted from the same exquisite material. An exceptionally crafted, one-of-a-kind evening ensemble designed to make a truly memorable and stand-out impression. All elements of this outfit were designed and crafted by famous fashion and costume designer Margi Kent.
